My Mother-in-law was meant to fly in last evening but her flight was cancelled due to the blizzard. She will be arriving tomorrow at 4:40pm. She is staying with us until jan 12. This means I will be "taken care of" for a couple of weeks :)
Chris received a bunch of new much needed clothes and clamps. He always says he'll never have enough clamps....
The Cherry jewelry box will be listed in the new few days.
We received a 32" Sony Bravia from my parents! We don't watch regular TV anymore, but we love movies. Netflix Rocks!
I took this picture 2 seconds ago. Will is playing X-Box live wearing his fleece Sponge Bob's (Christmas present) killing time until I can drive him to the mountain to go snowboarding.

New Necklaces in the shop!
A Swanstrom disc cutter. The Cadillac of disc cutters. I am stoked.
Chris made 4 of these jewelry boxes. They took 3 years to complete (on and off). Chris gave 3 as gifts to my mother, his mother, and me. The box below will be for sale in my shop for $500. We need to take proper pictures and Chris will write the description.

wrap rings

Wrap rings are so great because they are adjustable without being "cheesy adjustable". Pushing the settings together a bit for a smaller size or pulling them apart for a larger size won't hurt or disfigure the bands. They are strong!
That's all for now. I need to go to the PO and get those Express Mail orders out for my last minute shopping customers!
Later Taters!

A lil white stuff

Will has had a nasty cold for a few days. He stayed home from school Monday and Tuesday. He made it to school today for a bit (I just picked him up). I spoke to Danny last night and he sounds terrible and has a nasty cold as well. He is doing alright. Early sobriety is a roller coaster ride. Emotions are way up or way down. It takes a long time before you can spend time in the middle. It was for me anyway. Please continue to pray for Danny, it is the most wonderful thing you could do for him (and me). So much is being exposed and brought into the light in our family that it is a bit scary, but very good. I asked the Lord to reveal truth and light about a month or more ago and He did! The darkest corners of denial (mine) are being exposed and I am learning so much every day. What I thought was good for my children was not necessarily what they need to be prepared for this world. I was raising little boys, not men. The Lord is so good to answer my prayer and give me strength and honesty in changing some things about how I am as a mother and wife. We never stop learning and growing do we?

In the shop now ....
*the red dino bones I showed you on Friday have been sold.
Friday, December 10, 2010
Whew!
The lapis is absolutely loaded with pyrite, the scene on the jasper pair is a story of a darkened village alive with lightning strikes, and the last are fossilized dinosaur bones. Very rare and my stone cutter had a whole tray of different pairs when I last saw him. I have about 4 pairs, all different colors, the red is most precious. You will notice the cell patterns in the fossils, the open cell pattern shown on this pair means the dinosaur was an herbivore. A closed cell pattern for a carnivore. AMAZING!
Okay, back to my bench!
