I would say a lot more and would have blogged sooner, but I have had this nagging mild vertigo since November and it has grown to the point of being not so mild the last couple of days. I can barely look at a computer screen without getting dizzy. I managed to set the stones for the bar dangles and get them posted today. I am grateful for that! I did finally go to the doctor. She sent me to the hospital to have my neck x-rayed and prescribed medication for the vertigo. I am sure it is not serious, the x-rays are just a precaution. I will tell you that I can't do much being as dizzy as I am. I pray it goes away soon.
If you are reading this Chris..... I love you :)

I'll try not to complain

I really have nothing to complain about. Aren't you happy?! Well, aside from the things I have already complained about, there are no NEW complaints, just the same old ones. It has been snowy for 3 days now. That is excellent! The ski conditions are perfect. I wish I was on the mountain right this minute, but I need to go to a meeting in about 30 minutes. Oh, I didn't mention before.... I did not get that job I thought I would get (this is a fact, not a complaint).

I think the boys and I are going to spend the night at my parents house on Friday. I just want my mom. She's the best. I am all out of things to say.

I think long necklaces are tough to photograph. These are SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL in person. The camera (more like the photographer) did not capture them well.

They are very much me and my style. These are outfit transforming pieces; meaning, I am wearing a plain white shirt, old khakis with a drawstring, and beat up Birkenstocks. Blah, right? I add one of these necklaces and I am b-r-i-l-l-i-a-n-t. The best part is, they are timeless.

Boy this sucks

CURRENT PROBLEMS.......

I have left 2 voice mail messages in 2 days for the Director of Nursing, no calls back.

Will is on his 3rd day of being home sick

Danny is home today because he is suspended from school for mooning his buddy during class.

The kids are driving me INSANE (Will is feeling better. Well enough to fight with Danny ALL DAY LONG)

I can finally make the mortgage payment, but not the oil bill *oil please last a little longer*

Chris coming home is nowhere in sight.

Did I mention my children are DRIVING ME INSANE????

SOLUTION FOR COPING WITH LIFE.........

I will be sitting in a meeting in 1 hour

Prayer *I forgot to do this a few times today. I screamed at the boys at the top of my lungs sounding like a complete moron instead *

THERE ARE A COUPLE OF GOOD THINGS......

I made 2 long bohemian style necklaces that I am completely in love with today. It took all day long. I will be listing them in the shop tomorrow.

It will be bed time soon :)

Ready for today

I am ready to hunker down in the studio and create some new pieces for the shop, it's been awhile since we've had some new blood in there. My weekend was pretty terrific (I needed it!). Friday night Will had Tucker and Lukas sleep over and Saturday (Will's 13th birthday) morning we work up early to drive up north (1.5 hours) to Bretton Woods for a day in incredibly beautiful skiing. Bretton Woods is famous for their glades and we spent the entire day on them. The boys were just thrilled and so was I. I am a little bummed out my blackberry is not allowing my computer to load it's pictures. I have a couple of the three boys sitting around the fire in the ski lodge with their sock feet warming while sipping Shirley Temples. If I can get the pictures loaded, I'll add them to this post. Here is Mt. Washington Hotel (I spent much time there when I was a kid with my grandma) with the ski resort in the background.....

We arrived home Saturday night dead dog tired. Sunday was lovely. Church, then an afternoon of sipping tea and finishing my book "The Help". It was excellent.

Chris called me first thing this morning to inform me I was going to have a great day and that perhaps some Christian music while I work would be a good idea. I have yet to find an online Christian music station that I like. I am not big into Christian Rock or really traditional hymns. I am somewhere in the middle. If you have any suggestions, please share them with me! Oh, also sites with great sermons would be terrific as well.

Toodaloo.

Blog is freezing

I was able to read the comments from the last blog post, but Blogger won't let me post a comment, it keeps freezing. So I will post mine here. As always, I am blown over by all of your words of encouragement and love. The more I grow, the more I realize we women are all so alike and we need to stick together and talk about this stuff.
The bible study last night helped tremendously as I suspected it would. It put things in my like back to their right size.

Rosselle, thanks for this......

"By this time in all probability we have gained some measure of release from our more devastating handicaps. We enjoy moments in which there is something like real peace of mind. To those of us who have hitherto known only excitement, depression, or anxiety--in other words, to all of us--this new found peace is a priceless gift."

Thank you Jesus!

Chris suggested I start reading Proverbs in the morning ..... thanks honey.

A new job perhaps

I am fairly certain I landed a job today. The facility is really beautiful and the Director of Nursing seems really special. We talked awhile and as long as my paperwork and references are in order I will be all set. The releases take a week to get back so she told me to call her Wednesday. I did not think I would be able to find a 7-3 position, but I did. This is all bitter-sweet. I will be very busy. I am feeling good about the decision. It looks like Chris may be in SC for longer than we hoped. The big job he was supposed to be starting in January has been pushed back until who knows when, so we will just have to keep our heads up and do the best we can with the situation. I hope to have some new jewelry in the shop soon. I have added a very sweet pair of earrings that will be made to order. I am keeping this pair...

I wear these in my first piercing....

Sale & Ski

I am finishing my last cup of coffee, getting ready to call the boys over at my mothers house to see if they would like to go skiing with me. We received a couple of inches of new snow and it is meant to be 35 degrees today! I need to try out my new hot pink Burton snow pants. The ski/snowboard/skateboard shop was able to repair and wax Danny skis while I waited yesterday. I was expecting him to be without his skis for a few days at least.

I am slowly compiling a list of unused/still good items to put on Ebay on Monday. I am going to finally get rid of the expensive light tent set up I purchased and used once. I also have a ring sizer that is useless for my wide band rings (great for thinner bands). Will's in line skates, my old ski pants (like new), Will's snowboard boots from last year, and I think that's it so far. Anyway, I am indeed having a NEW YEARS SALE in my shop. It is a BUY 2 GET 1 FREE. That is by far my favorite way to have a sale. It works out best for the buyer and seller alike.

Chris just called me, he is on the way to kayak the Green River. A wonderful way to spend the New Year! Be safe sweetheart!
*This section of the river is called "gorilla"
